Functie
You start your day with a cup of coffee and then you go to the lab. As a paint specialist, you play a crucial role in the process, as you test the quality of the final product. An example of what you will do: you will get 5 car doors to test the paint on. You apply the paint evenly with spray guns and constantly check the quality. You do this in a special dust-free spray booth.
After the paint has cured, you inspect the product thoroughly to ensure that the end result meets the set requirements and quality standards. Think about hardness, gloss, how the paint dries, drying time, etc.. Is there anything during the process that you think does not meet the quality requirements? Then you report this to the chemist, who develops the recipes and can adjust them. The chemist depends on what you think of the product, making you a super important link in the process!
What you will do:
- Perform spray tests in the spray booth
- Preparatory work for spray tests such as sanding and degreasing
- Reporting on findings of spray tests to the chemist (both during spraying and at the final result)
- Ordering goods for the spray booth
- Approve production batches so that paint goes on sale

- Minimum MBO level (in studies or experience)
- Preferably experience as a sprayer, car painter, test sprayer, quality control sprayer or similar
- In possession of Autospuiter 1 is an advantage
- Good command of Dutch and/or English
